Online play is crap...

Great game. Ive been playing the basic game against the AI for about a week now. The basics were easy to learn from the tutorial. My wife and I played over wi-fi -- a fancy feature. And I introduced my 10 year old to it. (And I just discovered it can be played asynchronously, like Letterpress!)

I would give the game 5 stars since I love playing it. I bought it when I had the iPhone 5 and back then it was solid as a rock. Once I upgraded to the iPhone 6 Plus it started crashing all the time. About every other game it will crash. Since it is a turn based game I have never lost my turn or anything like that. After it crashes you launch it and you are back where it was when you crashed but it is annoying and frustrating. I don’t know if the programmers can’t make it work on the larger phones or if it was just coincidental that it started crashing all the time once I got the iPhone 6 Plus. I keep waiting for an update to fix it but for over a year now they have not fixed it. To their credit it is a good enough game that I continue to play it but I sure wish they could fix it.

I love this game - it is tons of fun.. But it crashes all the time on my iPad . I cant get through a single game without it crashing. Hopefully it will be fixed soon...

Doesnt work in new operating system - tiles dont rotate. Super annoying. Its basically useless until updated.

The board game is amazing. I am still amazed HOW amazing this digital version is. A brilliant board game created perfectly for a digital medium is a wonderful thing. The in-app purchases are only add on expansion packs just like the game, always welcomed with open arms. I love this so much.

This is a great game.... I really want to give this 5 stars, but there just hasnt been any significant update. Im not alone in saying I would gladly pay $2-3 for a legitimate expansion or even more tile configurations. Developers, make more expansions, make more $$$. Easy right?

Very fun, addicting board game. Computer is difficult to beat, but that adds to the fun.

Never opens on first try....or tenth try, for that matter....constantly try to open and it returns to my app pages....I have purchased all tile sets.....come on....you can do better

UPDATE 1: Phantoms expansion came out, and its a blast. As a recent huge fan of the board game, the experience is replicated and enhanced fantastically throughout this game. The gameplay, whether local or over the cloud is incredibly matched to the real version. Enhancements like chatting on cloud based games, and zoom capability capture the experience of laying down the tiles yourself. Im ANXIOUSLY awaiting more expansions. I hope they keep working to bring in the expansions with the Mayors, Phantoms, Towers, and City of Carcassonne.

I get to play my favorite board game, and I dont have to clean up and sort the tiles afterward!

I can ALWAYS find a game. I love the face to face game, but cant always find someone to play. On the iPhone, I can find a game even at 4am! I love it!!

I love love this game BUT lately it wont let me play online... I have to delete the app and reinstall it almost every day.

Doesnt get much better. Runs smooth and add-ons are worth it. Developer took time to add critical lan feature (this is huge for friends that want to hang out!) thank you!

I thought I would have the option to play against the computer but there is only option for wifi games or solitaire. Its a confusing game and the app is a bit glitchy.

This game and Forbidden Island are the best two adaptations of board games that I have found to date. In both cases features are presented that enhance play beyond the physical game (which also remain enjoyable). Well done TheCodingMonkeys!

Everything about this app is fantastic. Polished, great graphics and gameplay, online is a blast. This is the gold standard for iOS board gaming.

This is my favorite iOS boardgame port of all time. If I could only have one, this would be it.

I want a refund. The price of this game is ridiculous for what you get and it doesnt even have cross platform capability which is the only reason I purchased it (I want to play with my bf who has a droid). I want my money back. Side note: youd have to pay an extra $1.99 just to have the original game with the river. Thieves.
